Success Story: Dave Has Taken Balance of Nature Supplements for over 8 Years!
Dave is an active, full-time real estate broker in Florida and enjoys many hobbies. He has been taking Balance of Nature supplements for over 8 years!
“I’m 75 years old and, as I said before, it gets a little harder every year,” he shares. “But I’m keeping up. I’m going to keep up as long as I can.”
Dave says he has always taken vitamins and decided to try Balance of Nature supplements because of its ingredients.
“I started digging a little deeper into the supplements I was taking, and for most of them that I had, you relook at the ingredients and I can’t even read the words,” he explains. “I came upon Balance of Nature from a TV ad, and I looked at the ingredients and everything on there. . . . I started taking it and I haven’t looked back. . . . You have to do everything you can.”
Lots of Hobbies
Dave has a lot of hobbies: landscaping, biking, swimming, walking his dog, and flying his drone.
“I try to do a lot of things that will keep my mind active because again, as you get older, it’s a little harder, so I need to engage myself. So landscaping is one of them. I’ve done all the landscaping here and it’s in Florida. It’s a little harder than someplace else is where it gets cooler because it gets real hot and it’s physical work. So you know those are just some of the things I like to do.”
Dave also enjoys swimming—something he’s done since he was young.
“I have a pool. . . . I don’t go in there and do crazy swimming. I just kind of go back and forth every day or so. . . . It’s good aerobic exercise.”
Dave said he had to swim when he was in the Navy.
In addition, Dave enjoys walking his dog, a golden retriever, and biking for exercise.
“For [the dog] to be able to function in our house, he needs exercise,” Dave explains. “He needs to get some of that energy out of him, so I like to walk him every day. We walk sometimes up to 2 miles, depending if it’s not too hot. . . . Since I was a little kid, I had a bike and I love to get on my bike and just ride, nothing too crazy.”
Dave says his dad was 76 years old when he retired, and he rode his bike sometimes up to 100 miles a day! “I don’t do that much, but sometimes 100 miles a day, and he rode his bike up until he was 92. So there’s something to be said for all of that. . . . I don’t do that. I’ve never done that kind of biking, but riding a bike is great at aerobic exercise.”
Growing Up with Fruits and Vegetables
Dave says his family had 8 acres of land in New Jersey and grew everything they ate.
“We had peach trees. We had all the vegetating beans, tomatoes, and we canned all of this stuff and froze it. . . . So I grew up eating lots of fruits and vegetables, and they were all fresh. And my dad lived to be 99 years old and my mom lived to be 95, and neither one of them had anything wrong. They just got old. I’m aspiring to do that,” he says. “In today’s modern age, it’s not so easy.”
He adds, “You just got to figure out how to paste that in part of your nutrition and what you eat, and what you put in your body is one thing you can control. You know, I can’t control some outside stress and things that are just going to happen to me by, you know, just nature, but I can control [the] nutrition I put in myself.”
Dave believes what you eat is one thing you can control. He says he’s going to do everything he can to stay healthy.
“Fruits and vegetables, you know, it goes without saying. I mean, there’s no dispute about it. Nobody can give you an argument that having a lot of fruits and vegetables in your diet is something that’s going to hurt you. . . . So to me, taking Balance of Nature [supplements], looking at the ingredients on the label, I can read every one of them and I understand and I know what they are and I watched the process. . . . So again, it’s almost like a no-brainer to me.”
Dave says that, to him, health is everything. He wants to see what’s coming next in the world, he says.
“The world is changing so rapidly with technology, and now we have AI [artificial intelligence] and all this sort of crazy stuff going on. We’re not going to know the world in another 5 years and I want to see what that’s like, all right. I really do.”
It’s Common Sense
Dave says, “The ingredients that are on those bottles of Balance of Nature [supplements], again, are common sense to me, absolute common sense about what’s in there.”
He adds, “As you get older, you just eat less. You just don’t need to take in some of the calories that you did before, so what you eat is much more important now than it is when you’re 25. . . . And you don’t even need to exercise when you’re 20/22 years old, right? But as you get older, I’m 75, and as you get to my age, you better be cognizant of what you’re putting in your body.”
